I emailed Sarah of which she was quick to reply and follow up on my inquiry. It was a real pleasure sharing information and refreshing to see her honest desire to protray our loving dogs the way we saw them. Her intense desire to get their eyes and spirit spot on only confirmed my thoughts that we had selected the right person for this task. She went above and beyond helping us with the selection of the right mat and frame.

When the painting was unveiled for us to see, we were blown away with how beautifully Sarah had captured Zina’s attentive persona with her signature large Chiquaqua ears. Her little eyes just popped out with all of her natural intensity. Sarah’s depiction of Zak, our large Maltese, is exactly the kind of sweet smiling guy we know him to be. Again she got his beautiful eyes spot on. Sarah wholeheartedly believes their eyes are the windows to their souls and makes an extra effort to capture them as best she can.

We have nothing but thankfulness for Sarah capturing not just the physical characteristics of our babies but their true souls and spirits via the softness that only a watercolor can help to portray.
